Hooshang's work in 2 Ruston shows during April

Hooshang's art will be featured in two separate April shows at Art Innovations, a downtown Ruston gallery located at 112 W. Alabama Ave. Two of Hooshang's pieces will be part of an April Fool's Day show – "What Is Art?" – from 7-9 p.m. April 1. The attached image is a detail from "Days of Gray," a 48x60-inch mixed media on canvas that will be part of the one-night April Fool's show. Following that, from April 10-30, Hooshang will be featured in a solo exhibition that includes both his abstracts and florals. One portion of the solo show is called "Spring Color Storm" and the other, "Spring Flower Show." Regarding the floral segment, according to a flier for the show, this is "a celebration that causes all bouquets on canvas to be sold at 50% off regular price. These flowers last much longer, and you can enjoy them for many springs to come."
